Youth Conference

Back in June, Troy and I had the opportunity to take the 14-18 year olds in our Church to Youth Conference. We stayed local, and visited historical sites in SLC. It was wonderful. We did a scavenger hunt around temple square, had John Bytheway speak to us, visited the SLC Cemetary and had someone show us around gravesites of pioneers who had suffered, perservered, and had incredible stories. We camped at This is the Place State Park at Brigham Youngs home for 3 nights, did a Pioneer Amazing Race, played gator ball, had a concert by Octapella, and hiked Ensign Peak. It was an amazing few days. I am so grateful I get to spend time with the Youth. We have about 100 young men and women ages 12 and up that live in our small little neighborhood. Only 14 and up go to Youth Conference, and I think there were about 50-60 there. Here they are..
