Don't worry, I'm laying down...
Okay, on Sunday before church, we went to the temple. They play the Joseph Smith movie at the temple here, and it plays at 10:30am on Sundays. We decided to get up and get ready, go to the temple, watch the movie, and then go to church. We of course took pictures. Kristin wasn't cooperating for the nice girl who took our pictures, so we didn't get any good ones.
I got a few cute ones of the kids. They wanted Moroni in their picture, and I tried my hardest, but at this point in my pregnancy, I just can't lie on the concrete...
Notice Jake's gloves. He got gloves to go on the Father and Sons campout, and as you can see, on Sunday, he was still attached to them! Jake has also mastered the "fake" smile for pictures. I have been waiting for him to come up with his "picture" smile. Here it is...
Kyle is a great kid. During the movie, they showed the life history of Joseph Smith. As Joseph was in the Sacred Grove, seeing Heavenly Father and Jesus, Kyle leaned over to me and said,"MOM, this is true! It really happened!" It was so awesome. I hope he remembers this. Once they started showing the trials Jospeh went through - tarred and feathered, and in jail - Kyle was begging to leave. He just couldn't figure out why all that happened to Joseph, and he had a hard time sitting through it. He's so sweet. I think I cried more during the movie, just thinking about how sweet Kyle is, and hoping he stays that way, than of anything in the movie. It was really good.
Here's Kristin! She did not enjoy the movie. She loved walking around the temple and the fountain. We finally got her some fall/winter church clothes. Too cold for her summer dresses! She loves getting dressed up and twirling around showing us her outfits. Love her!

Handsome little men you have there. I love Jake's picture smile. Kristin is cute as always! I had a similar experience with Evan a while back but it was Soggy instead of foggy. Kids say the darndest things.
Where did you get your boys' shirts and ties? They are sooo cute. Please tell me in was Wal-Mart...if so, I'm going as soon as I can!
Kristin is a doll too! She's getting too big!
Strangely enough, all the clothes my kids have on (even Troy) I got at Walmart. The boys shirts came with the clip on tie, and then they had little dockers(walmart brand) for them. I am not usually a Walmart shopper, but when you come from Oregon, where a Walmart is an hour drive away, when you are able to go, you just get sucked in. Also, beginning on my 4th child, I have realized it's dumb to spend lots of money on clothes for kids. I would rather take them on a fun vacation or do other things. Especially if I can find cute stuff for cheap at Walmart.
Sweet!
