We have 2 baby blessings today. Last night, I got the "dreaded" phone call. A new calling was coming. We had to leave right after my cousin and her family blessed their baby. I was right, I got a new calling today. I REALLY thought I would stay in the Primary. Boy, was I wrong! I was called as an advisor for the Beehives (12-13 year old girls). Oh, that's not all...this next part, I'm SURE they got wrong...Ward YW Camp Director. YEP! CAMP DIRECTOR! HELLO, has the bishop not read my blog? I'm not a camper! He assured me, camp was really nice for the girls. I told him if it wasn't, it would be now! (wink wink) Wish me luck!

What the crud?? Wowza. Yep, I'm thinking those girls are going to be seriously having some cush camping next year. I distinctly remember you saying something to the effect that camping is staying at a Motel 6.

You are going to be the best advisor. Young Women's was a lot fun and a lot of work but I'm so grateful for it because it gave me knowledge that has been really useful for my own daughters now that they are YW age. Have fun!

WOOOO HOOO we have the same calling. Now we can get ideas from each other. And camp director? I would have said no...that's insane.

hey- i hope you don't mind. I sent a link to your advent calender to some ladies in my ward. We are going to do that for a craft this month. So, if you get a ton of guests from Bako- you know why.
I'm jealous of your new calling. As you know, I would love that! That's why you got the calling and I never will. You will be awesome though, and you can make camp like you want. I remember having cap in cabins many years because our leaders didn't want to tent it. Good luck!
You will be great at camp. I have so many fun memories of you at camp...ditching class and hiding in the tent making up songs about people...oh wait. Maybe those classes would have come in handy right now! (I'm going this year too...except I LOVE going to camp. I don't think they'll ever get rid of me!)
